Dale Earnhardt Inc. announced that Mark Martin and Aric Almirola will split driving duties in the No. 8 U.S. Army Chevrolet Impala SS during the 2008 Sprint Cup Series season. Martin will drive in 23 to 26 races with Almirola behind the wheel for the remaining 10 to 13 races. Sponsor U.S. Army, crew chief Ryan Pemberton and most of the No. 01 crew that has worked with Martin this season also will move to the No. 8 team.
